Analytics — common questions
Is QR code analytics free?
Yes — basic analytics (total scans, city, device type, timestamp) are included on the free plan. Advanced analytics (heatmap, trends, referrer) require Basic or above.
How real-time is the scan data?
Scan data appears in your dashboard within 2–5 seconds of a scan. The total counter updates live. Charts refresh every 60 seconds automatically.
Does tracking store personal data about scanners?
No. We log approximate city (not street level), device type, and browser — never phone numbers, email addresses, or identifiers. GDPR-compliant and DPDP Act-aware.
Can I export my analytics to Excel?
Yes — CSV export is available on Pro and Business plans. Filter by date range before exporting. Each row includes timestamp, city, country, device, browser, and OS.
Can I see analytics per QR code or only in aggregate?
Per QR code. Each QR has its own analytics dashboard with its own scan history, city breakdown, and trends. You can also see aggregate totals across all QR codes.
